The Hmong Studies Journal Blog is intended to facilitate a moderated forum for  scholarly communication and civil debate about issues discussed in articles published in Hmong Studies Journal, Volume 13(1)(2012) in a more rapid and somewhat informal fashion than is possible in the traditional scholarly publication processs.

All HSJ  blog submissions should be signed (i.e. contributors provide their  name and  affiliation (either a university,organization, or simply, "community  member."

HSJ Blog entries should be about 2‐5 paragraphs in length, but they can be longer or shorter if necessary to support your response. They should  include suggested citations of other sources necessary to support your comments, in the format of your choosing (parenthetical or footnoting).  Contributors may include the text links to other websites, links to pdf  papers, videos, poll questions, etc.

HSJ blog entries may be written in a more conversational style than traditional academic papers, but should attempt to convey scholarly ideas pertaining  to Hmong Studies. Contributors may express informed opinions, or merely share  your data or ask for thoughts on their own-related research.
